Different types of jobs in Canada that do not require an authorization to work
The following jobs do not require an authorization for foreigners who want to participate in Canadian work. It is important to understand that the inclusion of these jobs on the list does not guarantee that one is eligible to receive a work permit exemption. Researchers who work in the short-term
Foreign nationals who travel to Canada to conduct short-term research could be qualified for an exemption from work permits. This exemption is only available when the researcher meets the following requirements:Researchers must be enrolled in an institution that grants public degrees or an affiliated research institution
It is required to work for less than 120 consecutive days
Do not apply for this exemption in the last 12 months.
Student working outside of campus
The full-time International students are not required to have an authorization to work off campus in their academic studies. International students who are full-time are entitled to work as much as 20 hours a week during the study period and work at a full-time rate during academic holidays and breaks.
